Phillip H. Beck, MD, FACS

Phillip H. Beck, MD, earned his BA from the University of Redlands in Redlands, California. He then earned his doctor of medicine (MD) degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Beck completed his internship at the Letterman Army Medical Center, Presidio of San Francisco, where he also performed residencies in surgery and in urology. Dr. Beck was certified by the American Board of Urology, and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).

Dr. Phillip Beck had a distinguished career in the U.S. Army Reserve, where he was Commander of the 921st MASH from 1988 to 1991 and received the order of medical military merit medal.

For keeping current in his field, Dr. Beck maintains memberships in several medical societies including the American Urological Association, the American Medical Association, and the American Fertility Society. In addition, he has published several articles in urological research and has held many prestigious teaching and hospital appointments.

C. Richard Dewar, MD

C. Richard Dewar, MD, graduated from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, Michigan. He then earned his medical degree there. He performed an internship and surgical residency at the University of Kentucky before completing his residency in urology at the University of California-Davis. Dr. Dewar is certified by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Dewar has been in practice with the Valley Associated Urology Medical Group since 1978. He maintains memberships in several medical societies including the American Urological Association and the California Medical Association.

Robert B. Eisenberg, MD, FACS

A graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, Robert B. Eisenberg, MD, earned his medical degree (MD) from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico. He was an intern at Long Island Jewish Hospital and Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York. Dr. Eisenberg completed his residency in urology at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).

Dr. Eisenberg has practiced urology with the Valley Associated Urology Medical Group for more than 24 years. He maintains memberships in several medical societies including the American Urological Association and the California Medical Association.

Brian T. McCaffrey, MD, FACS

Brian T. McCaffrey, MD, graduated in medicine from University College Dublin, in Dublin, Ireland, and interned at the Brooklyn-Cumberland Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He then completed a residency there in internal medicine before a second residency in urology at Downstate Kings County Medical Center, where he was chief resident in urology in his final residency year. Subsequently, Dr. Brian McCaffrey was a special fellow in urological oncology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).

In addition to his practice with Valley Associated Urology Medical Group, Dr. McCaffrey is an assistant professor on the clinical faculty of the University of California-Davis School of Medicine. He maintains memberships in several regional and national medical societies including the American Urological Association, the California Medical Association, and the American Fertility Society.

Mark Saleh, MD, FRCSC

Dr. Mark Saleh completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. He earned his doctor of medicine (MD) degree, with honors, at the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. He then performed postgraduate training in urology at the University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada. Dr. Saleh is a diplomate (board-certified) of the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Saleh is a member of many professional associations including Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the Canadian Urological Association, and the American Urological Association. He is certified in urology as a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC).

Walter J. Schimon, MD

Walter J. Schimon, MD, received his BS from the University of California at Riverside and his MD from the University of Kansas. He completed an internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado, where he also trained as a resident in surgery. Dr. Schimon performed a residency in urology at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinic and the Veterans Administration Medical Center Department of Urology.

Dr. Walter Schimon is currently an assistant professor of the clinical faculty at the University of California-Davis School of Medicine and has been practicing with Valley Associated Urology Medical Group since 1990. He maintains memberships in several medical societies including the American Urological Association and the California Medical Association.

Parminder S. Sethi, MD, FACS, FRCS

Dr. Sethi joined the practice of Valley Associated Urology Medical Group in December 2001. He earned his bachelor of medicine and surgery and his master of surgery from Christian Medical College, Punjab University, Ludhiana, India. Dr. Sethi completed his internship at Punjab University. His residency continued at Rochford Hospital, Essex, Yeovil District Hospital, Somerset, Taunton and Somerset Hospitals, Somerset, United Kingdom, and the Division of Urology at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and Punjab University. He is the recipient of several honors and awards, including the Pfizer Scholars in Urology Award in 1996. He completed a fellowship in neurourology and urodynamics at the Department of Urology, University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, in Iowa City. He was named a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), in Edinburgh, United Kingdom, in 1990. He is a diplomate (board-certified) of the American Board of Urology.

In addition to numerous research projects, presentations, publications, abstracts, and lectures, Dr. Sethi has also made videos on the topics of Foley catheter insertion techniques and a television program on urinary infections in elderly patients. He is a member of the American Medical Association and American Urological Association.
